Getting Started

What you will need during the online application process:

• Names and income details for every member of your household (unless your household receives SNAP, KTAP, or FDPIR- will need active case number for these programs)
• The school name, grade, and birthdate for each student in your household (optional)
• The last four digits of your Social Security number (if applicable) and your electronic signature
• A valid email address or phone number for the Child Nutrition Office to contact you with questions or updates (optional)

Before you begin:

• If your household does not meet income eligibility (or does not have an active SNAP or KTAP case), you do not need to complete this application. Please review the income chart on the next page to check eligibility.
• If you received a letter from the Fayette County Public Schools Child Nutrition Office stating that your children were automatically approved for the 2025–26 school year due to Direct Certification, you do not need to submit an application. Please review the letters carefully to ensure all children in your household received one.
• If your household was directly certified in previous years, but you have not received a letter before the first day of school, you should still complete this application and include all household members.
