Getting Started

What you will need to provide during the application process:

• The names and incomes of every member of your household (unless the household receives SNAP, KTAP, or FDPIR)
• The school, grade, birthdate of every student in your household (Optional)
• The last four digits of your social security number (if applicable) and electronic signature
• A valid email address or phone number for the Child Nutrition Office to contact you regarding questions or the status of an application (Optional)

-Families that do not qualify, do not need to fill out an application. Please see income chart on following page to see if your household qualifies.

-If you received a letter from the Fayette County Public Schools Child Nutrition Office saying that your children were automatically approved for the 2024-2025 school year because someone in your household participates in Directly Certified programs, then you do not need to submit an application. Please read the letter carefully to ensure all children in your household have been identified.

-If your household has been directly certified in previous school years but you have not received a letter prior to your child's first day at school, please go ahead and fill out the application.
